Anderson Expeditions is built on a deep knowledge and understanding of the countries, locations, properties, people and logistics to which our guests travel. We have built, opened and operated lodges, trained and managed guiding teams and personally led safaris and expeditions for the past 20 years. In addition to the trips we lead each year we also personally travel to and meticulously research new lodges, experiences and destinations in order to broaden our offerings to our guests.

We are a team of people passionate about the wild areas of Africa and South America and love nothing more than planning travel to these places for our guests.

Guides | Properties | People

We use only the best guides, lodges, camps and ground operating teams with, very importantly, the best people. We pride ourselves on the relationships we’ve built with our partners and this allows us to deliver the exceptional experiences our guests are there for.

Independence

We choose locations and lodges based on our clients’ specific needs only. We do not enter into incentive agreements with any operators.

Value

You do not pay a higher price to book your safari with Anderson Expeditions than you would if you booked directly with each property as well as each logistical link over an itinerary.

We make our money via commission agreements with all our partners. The value you receive by booking with AE is the experience and knowledge of all the properties, locations and countries – when, where and why to go. We pride ourselves on our thoughtful and detailed service to our discerning travelers – and personally lead our guests through the trip design, booking, lead up and travel phases.  The long-standing relationships with our partners as well as our own travel experiences allows us to offer deeply insightful suggestions and recommendations that make the travel experience all the more exceptional – from which room offers the best view to the best additional activities to consider, and all else in between.

Conservation and Community

Contributing to conservation and community upliftment in the regions we operate is critically important to us, and one of the primary reasons we take guests on safari and expedition. We only partner with safari operators who have a proven track record in protecting and enhancing biodiversity and sustainably involving and uplifting the regions people. For every guest on a specialist Expedition, Anderson Expeditions donates a specific amount directly to our Conservation Partner in that area.

Safety

The safety of our guests, guides and team is the single most important factor when designing and leading safaris and expeditions. We work with our partners and travelers to comprehensively prepare for and manage inherent or unexpected risk associated with travel to our destinations.
