Mobile tented camps are the original concept for safari travel and have stood the test of time over generations. They continue to provide the freedom to plan, design and implement a private camp in exactly the right place, at the perfect time and custom built specifically for each group of guests.
Never has this been more valuable than currently in the Maasai Mara which has recently made headlines for all the wrong reasons. Our mobile camps are built on exclusive sites in remote private conservancies or hidden corners within parks like the Maasai Mara, Tsavo and Amboseli, amongst others in Kenya. In each of these we select the location, manage logistics, and create a temporary home that balances simplicity with quiet luxury.
Long views from camp and explorations into lesser-travelled regions, this is the rare privilege of experiencing vast wilderness away from other vehicles and people. Afternoons might be spent cooling off beside a river or simply settling into the rhythm of camp, before evenings draw in with warm light, charcoal ovens, and star-filled skies.
