Sensational Seychelles – Island Style
I have just returned from an unforgettable adventure to Alphonse Island, a hidden paradise nestled in the Seychelles archipelago. The tropical ocean has always been my happy place, so I was very excited to join an educational trip with ‘Blue Safari”. Wow wow wow! Pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, coral reefs, turtles, birdlife, incredible activities and an abundance of ocean wildlife made this a trip of a lifetime.
Alphonse Island, a pin prick in the Indian ocean, 400 km south east of the “main island” of Mahé is an extraordinarily beautiful coral atoll kissed by a warm tropical breeze and breath-taking scenery. The exclusive resort, surrounded by lush greenery, promises a luxurious and idyllic escape where one can immerse oneself in the island’s natural wonders.
Alphonse Island is not just an amazing beach destination – this is a true blue safari. There is so much to do and even after seven nights here, all I want is to return and stay for longer. As a “stand alone” trip or after an incredible African mainland adventure Alphonse Island offers some of the worlds best fishing, most beautiful and diverse tropical oceanscapes and an incredible array of adventure, fun and immersion in nature, a wilderness experience at its finest.
Who would I recommend this to? Absolutely everyone who loves the ocean, or those wanted to develop a love for the ocean. A visit here is ideal for those who love to fish, scuba diving and snorkelling enthusiasts. It is ideal for couples, honeymooners and families.
I had so many highlights during my trip here that I really don’t know where to start. Everything was simply incredible – from the accommodation, to the food and the location. The generous and kind staff were absolutely wonderful too.
